the blue balcony is in the middle of the historic city of Gent, so practically everything is within walking distance. It's difficult and quite expensive to find a parking place on the street, but there are plenty of underground carparks linked together in a sophisticated P-route (see picture), and not prohibitively expensive either! The nearest underground carparks to the blue balcony are P1, "vrijdagmarkt" and P2, "Sint-Baafs". To find out about prices click Gent and follow the links "verkeer" -- "parkings". Prices are called "tarieven" in Dutch! At the time of writing, a monthly subscription to P1 (vrijdagmarkt) cost 100 EURO.
